Reportage | Type Design Print/Digital Platforms
This project centers on Reportage, a variable typeface designed for contemporary news media, balancing the emotional spectrum of daily reporting. The typeface navigates both serious and lighter content through a combination of sharp edges and smooth curves, creating a tone that is clear, approachable, and not overwhelming. Designed to function across print and digital platforms, it prioritizes readability, low contrast, and accessibility for a wide audience. With adjustable weight and width axes, the system adapts to different editorial hierarchies, from headlines to captions. As part of the project, I led a team after my concept was selected, contributing to the development of a multi master typeface while refining both the design and collaborative process.
